We have a selection of Leather and Nylon girths that are suitable for either English All Purpose saddles, or Dressage saddles that use a short dressage girth. The Sommer dressage & trail saddles require a short dressage length girth. The Sommer All Purpose / English jumping saddles all use a long English girth.
Heres what we look for in a girth:

• Materials need to stand up to hard use, so we look for stainless steel hardware (no rust),
• Easy care, washable materials (fleece) and nylon - hose off after using.
• High quality leather that is not going to crack after just a few months of use. (just wipe off after using!)
• Girths with elastic on both ends - this makes a girth much easier to buckle up, and it is more comfortable for the horse as well.
• Girths which have a d ring, which is a nice quick way to attach a breast collar, or other training equipment.
